Description
Regarded by his contemporaries as "poet's poet", Velimir Klebnikov (1885-1922) was a Russian futurist and a tireless experimenter with language. He belonged to the Hylea group, together with Mayakovsky. He also wrote ecstatic drama Zangezi that used "language of gods and birds".
